Suzanne Potter - President
Suzanne is British and has lived in Winterthur since September 2011. She has been an active member of the International Club Winterthur since 2014. She has lived and worked as a Radiographer in England, Ireland, Australia and now in Switzerland, where she works at the Universitätsspital in Zurich. Suzanne is a big fan of pro-cycling road racing, following events like the Tour de France and Tour de Suisse. She also loves the mountains and is a keen walker both in summer and in winter.
Tinie Duckert - Admin Manager
Tinie was born and raised in Denmark and has lived in Winterthur with her husband and four children since October 2011. She has a B.Sc. degree in Nutrition and Home Economics from Copenhagen, Denmark and Dipl. Ernährungstherapeutin from Zürich, Switzerland. In Denmark, she worked as a teacher and part-time in her husband's company. Since moving here, she has furthred her education while also being a stay-at-home mom. Tinie enjoys cycling and hiking with her husband, particularly on the beautiful hiking routes in Switzerland. Both Tinie and her husband have been members of the club since 2023.
Sharron Martin - Activities Coordinator
Sharron was born in Jersey, raised in Ireland, and has been living in Winterthur since 2018. Previously working as an HR assistant for five-star hotels, she moved to Winterthur with her husband and three grown-up children. Sharron studied tailoring in Ireland and enjoys various fitness activities like jogging, hiking, and snowshoeing. She is a member of a fitness club and also loves cooking. As a sociable person, she enjoys meeting new people and attending events. Since 2018, Sharron has been an active member of the International Club Winterthur and now organizes club activities.
Danielle Thomet - Treasurer
Danielle was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. She moved to Winterthur in 1977 and has been living there ever since. She is not only a mother but also a proud grandmother. In her free time, Danielle volunteers for Pro Senectute, specifically in the tax return services. This organization provides support and services for senior citizens, and Danielle contributes her time and expertise to assist with tax-related matters.
Bas Dicen - Social Media Manager
Bas is from the Philippines and has been living in Winterthur since April 2020. He is fluent in four languages. Apart from his linguistic abilities, Bas has a strong passion for traveling and exploring new places. He enjoys immersing himself in different cultures, trying new cuisines, and experiencing the world through his adventures.
