Maya Gadgil was the initiator of the foundation of the Club. She was born on April 17th 1965 in Winterthur. Her father is from India, her mother from Switzerland – and she has spent two years in England and spends a lot of time in the USA. Maya is a lawyer and a certified Event Manager. She has worked for an International Lawyers office, for the Insurance company  - Winterthur; in the event department of Credit Suisse and is now heading the Residence Marketing department of the City Marketing of Winterthur. She likes to travel, go out, ski and play golf (beginner).
